I found this awesome video on youtube of Sean Gordon Murphy the artist from joe the barbarian, hellblazer and punk rock jesus.
I awesome he gives some tips on drawing mainly
perrspective on ellipses and then in the later part he gives some advice on inking and inking effects. There are 3 parts of the demo and a fourth video if look in the related videos.
